应用及作用	Proteinase K is a stable and highly reactive serine protease. Evidence from crystal and molecular structure studies indicates the enzyme belongs to the subtilisin family with an active-site catalytic triad (Asp39-His69-Ser224). It is stable in a broad range of environments: pH, buffer salts, detergents (SDS), and temperature. In the presence of 0.1-0.5% SDS, proteinase K retains activity and will digest a variety of proteins and nucleases in DNA preparations without compromising the integrity of the isolated DNA.

产品介绍：蛋白酶K(Proteinase K)，属丝氨酸蛋白酶类，1974年，Wolfgang Ebeling等利用沉淀、离子交换层析和凝聚层析等方法在林伯氏白色念球菌的培养基中分离纯化出蛋白酶K。因能合成该种蛋白酶的微生物能在以角蛋白(Keratin)为唯一碳氮源的环境中生长，即能够消化角蛋白，因此被命名为蛋白酶K(Proteinase K)。蛋白酶K由一条肽链组成，包含277个氨基酸残基，相对分子质量为28.9kDa。与其它的蛋白酶相比较，蛋白酶K具有高活力和高稳定性，其酶活不会被尿素、SDS和EDTA等变性剂抑制，且在高温、高盐或较高的pH等条件下，蛋白酶K仍能保持较高活性。因该酶在较广的pH范围(4～12.5)内及高温(50～70℃)均有活性，在提取DNA和RNA的缓冲液中具有很高的活性，可用于质粒或基因组DNA、RNA的分离，是DNA提取的关键试剂。

近年来，随着研究的深入，蛋白酶K(Proteinase K)的应用不仅仅局限在医疗诊断及科研领域。在实现规模化工业生产的前提下，蛋白酶K还可以替代作用范围较窄的其它蛋白酶，应用于工业制革、食品加工、饲料生产、造纸等行业中。另外，蛋白酶K也可以替代传统的可能存在污染的化学方法处理原材料，去除不必要的蛋白质杂质。

Product Introduce

Proteinase K, originally isolated from the mold Tritirachium album, is a serine protease with broad substrate specificity and relatively high proteolytic activity.
